The Grinding – Squaring – Polishing – Chamfering machine mod. 2100-TIRR, with
“series TI” tilting head, has been projected and built to obtain a perfect
mechanical polishing, tolerance squaring, prismatic grinding of metacrylate (PMMA)
and similar sheets and blocks with patented process.

The 2100-TI series has the quality to remove material mm. 0,2-3 thick leaving
the surface of pieces bright and transparent.

The specific feature of the 2100-TI series is to have the tilting tool-holder group
without losing working field and always mm. 140.

Besides 90-degree workings as to the worktable, it can work undercut up to
5 degrees (95 degrees) and obtuse angles up to 55 degrees with acute angles 35 degrees on the piece.

An only and innovative application in the sector is the possibility to obtain the “X” dimension
of the chamfer, directly read on the electronic adjustment display that has also the
purpose of removal adjusting.

It isn’t always required to presplit the piece for the angular working.

Up to a triangle height of 3 mm. it’s possible to remove directly the material by tools.

The 2100-TI series is built with a electro-welded, hardened and tempered steel frame
with such measures as to avoid any kind of vibrations or resonance.

An absolute quality is that the machine 2100-TI is supplied with a great longitudinal zone
with vacuum cells in order to work even thin sheets mm. 1 and more without
vibrations and splinters.
Furthermore cells allow us to work very little pieces.

Another quality of this type of polishing/grinding/squaring machine is the use easiness.

It’s enough to lean the workpiece to the frontal strike and the cycle starts automatically
pressing the pushbutton “start”.
All functions are adjusted by an electronic processor PLC with auto-diagnosis.

An inverter to adjust the variable rotation of the chuck, a servo control to manage
the brushless motor of tool group translation.

Removal adjustment by electronic equipment.

Predetermined electronic readout of height adjustment of the chamfer at 45 degrees.

Head locking and dechucking to adjust the working angle.

Presser bridge adjustment for pieces from 90 to 45 degrees.

Very large vacuum table in order to work little pieces, thin thicknesses or triangular shapes.

Motorization by brushless motor.
